This has been a complete disappointment and frustration. The construction quality is poor, the houses have a lot of snagging issues, customer service is even worse, the problems are left unattended, unsolved, they are using the main residential premises as construction access roads for other plots, putting everyone's health and safety at risk, especially children who play outside, even in school breaks and etc. It is dirty, muddy and heavy equipment, excavators, trucks vibrate all the newly built houses, damaging the ones they have just sold. They are all cracked inside. Do not come here and buy a property, unless you want to be emotional and psychologically disrupted, have your children at risk and enjoy dealing with poor quality and reckless customer service and contractor. See the photos by yourself.

It's a building site with some completed houses. Muddy road at present. Supposed to be finished by Christmas!

Buying a house felt rushed and harassed for a while before Christmas, hopefully things are settled now.

On the edge of the the pretty Blackmore vale... Well it was prettier before the new expensive houses started being built, they look upmarket so the locals will struggle to afford or move in to them.
Stalbridge the 'bustling' town with minimal public transport, few & limited shops, full schools, no doctors surgery& every developer wants to jump on the 'build all over anything green' wagon, we'll take grassland & call the estate Blackmore 'meadows' the irony of it! Blackmore bog or Marsh may have been more appropriate?
The currently supplied Google maps satellite view needs to include the new road design, housing estate & remove some hedges to remove the rural look & make it more accurate.
5 months after reviewing this.. I happened to have the Bovis homes advert come up whilst watching something on YouTube..
The advert was shot in & around Stalbridge, on some of the lovely footpaths & fields (possibly some that are no more or have a view of these building sites of the greed stricken developers) the irony-what a sickly, advert to promote their houses!
A young man getting off of the train at Templecombe station, getting home to a young lady & the little Westie, that was enjoying walks in the rural setting, the birdseye view of all the green fields & beautiful landscape in the area.
Try filming the ad again when all the developments are finished it won't look so wonderful, rural & picturesque then to sell those overpriced new build houses.
That advert nearly made me gag!
